Service Descriptions
Not only has Massage Therapy been documented to have many benefits but, it just plain feels good. Tailored to your body, massage relieves stress and tension from the body, soothes the mind and nourishes the spirit. Massage can increase range of motion and decrease pain.
  • Cupping is an ancient practice that utilizes "suction cups" in a variety of sizes, shapes and additions to release the fascia and muscles, affect trigger and acupuncture- acupressure points, relieve stiffness, flush out toxins through the lymph system, reduce Cellulite and many other benefits.  Certain medical conditions are contraindicated for this technique.  See the waiver form link below and/or call for details.  {all therapists}
  • Deep Tissue helps work out kinks and specific areas of concern with more pressure as needed.  More is not always better but, some bodies have thicker tissue and the extra pressure can help get relief and release.
  • Detoxification Foot Bath coming soon. The foot bath is great way to detoxify through the most sweat glands in the body, your feet! In this session you are seated with your feet in really warm water to help open the pores while an electrode stimulates material to exit microscopically. Most people will have a mixture of colored matter in the water when finished. Get a head/neck massage while relaxing.
  • Hot Stone Massage uses specially selected heated stones to massage the body, providing a nurturing and enhanced therapeutic effect. The application of heat not only increases the feeling of well-being but also enables the therapist to work more deeply and more effectively with chronic pain conditions. The practitioner will massage with some stones and lay others on the body at particular points.  The mind and body will feel complete bliss! {Luke}
  • Marma Point Massage:  Marma points are like small “windows” on the skins surface and subcutaneous layers, acting as mystical junction points between body, mind, and spirit.  Activating marma points allows light and energy into the body, transforming the biochemistry of the physiology. {Luke} Benefits of Marma Point Massage:
    • Therapeutic effects can be experienced both distally and locally within the physiology.
    • Because marma points intrinsically have a large blood supply and many nerves, activating them can restore balance to the autonomic nervous system and harmonize the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.
    • Endorphins, called opioids and neurotransmitters such as melatonin and serotonin are released during marma therapy, enhancing mood and relieving pain.
    • It clears pathways and improves functional and structural integrity of the body’s systemic channels.
    • It kindles the fire within all tissues, burns cellular toxins and disperses crystallized negative emotions that have been repressed in the cellular memory.
    • It relieves headache, joint, and muscle pain.
    • It can provide most of the benefits that regular massage provides.
  • Pregnancy Massage is specifically for pregnant women to help soothe the low back, legs and neck with the stress of carrying a baby physically and mentally.  Feel refreshed and less muscular tension after this session! {Luke}
  • Reiki is an ancient chinese secret (really Tibetan/Japanese) where the practitioner laces the hands on or near the body to balance the energy channels and "chi" in the body. Blockages are released and energy stimulated. Very effective for stress related problems. When you are finished, you will feel at peace and in a blissful state from head to toe!  (Wear loose clothing for this treatment). {Luke, Cindy, Cassandra, Angelica}
  • Swedish Massage encompasses a variety of techniques to relieve joint stiffness and muscle tightness, flush toxins and improve lymph movement. It is the most common type of massage. Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle knots. Swedish massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology as opposed to energy work. It can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on what the therapist wants to achieve and what the client needs. {Luke, Cassandra}

Getting Ready for Your Session
Massage Therapy is for YOU.  The sessions are to help you release muscle tension, stress, aches and pains and just unwind.  Here are a few tidbits we would like you to be aware of:
  • Cancellation Notice: An 8-hour cancellation notice is required or the registered session is forfeited (see payment option in the main menu for cancellation procedures).
  • Cell Phones; This time is for YOU.  Please turn your cell phone off or to vibrate so you can let go of the outside world and feel the bliss.
  • Clothing vs Not: Everyone feels differently about the body and it's important for you to be comfortable.  Disrobe to your comfort level...you will be draped with sheets during your service and, if you are shy, please feel free to leave on some clothes.  Some techniques can be done with or without clothing.
  • Session Times: We are fortunate that we are becoming really busy.  That limits how much play we have on the schedule.  Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your appointment to allow paperwork and restroom time. Late arrivals shorten the length of your service and we want you to get the most out of your session!
  • Tipping:  Of course, tipping is appreciated.  It is customary to leave at least 15% of your total service based on your satisfaction.

Angelica Gordon, Reiki Master, Intuitive, Energy worker
"I have had a passion for healing since childhood, and wanted to become a conventional doctor all the way through my Senior year of college. I made the decision to explore alternative healing modalities and was very drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is used to influence the flow and properties of "Chi" (universal life energy) throughout the body. Through several years of meditation and yoga, I became consciously aware of the energy flow in my body and was introduced to Reiki shortly following this awareness. I was so profoundly affected by my first experience that I immediately signed up for a class and have decided to begin my healing career with energy work! I have developed a strong connection to my intuition, and am sensitive to the level and quality of energy in different areas of your body. The experience of learning Reiki and healing others has completely transformed my mind, body, and spirit, and I feel gratitude each day for the ability to share this gift with the community. Namaste!

Luke Martin, LMT, Reiki Master
Luke graduated from Ancient Wisdom College of Healing Arts in 2007. He is also a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Reiki III practitioner. "I entered the massage field because I love helping someone relax as part of my job, and afterwards I feel healed as well. I love doing basic Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Bodytalk Access, and Reiki. I can also dig deep with my forearms and elbows if it's needed. Practicing Massage the past 5 years, my hands have become pretty intuitive to know how much pressure someone needs or not. I’m also good at finding that spot that needs the most attention. A little bit about myself, I love to read books of a spiritual nature, meditate, stand on my head, walk my dog, and spend time cooking with my wife. I thank you for taking the time to read this short bio, and hope to see you soon. Namaste."
